Privacy

Short version: no accounts, your progress stays on your device, and we use Google Analytics to count visits.

Your progress

Your answers, your Revise list, your paper scores and your light or dark choice are saved in this browser's local storage, on this device only. They are never sent to us. Clearing your browser data deletes them; use "Back up" on the home page to keep a copy.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to see how many people visit, which pages they read, how long they stay, and how they study (for example, how many questions are answered, which topics are practised, and how many papers are finished). This helps us decide what to improve and lets us show sponsors honest visitor numbers.

Google Analytics sets cookies (named _ga and _ga_…) and receives your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you open and those study events. It does not receive your answers to individual questions, your name or your email. Google may process this data outside India. Advertising features are turned off. Visitors in the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland are not tracked.

You can stop it with Google's opt-out add-on, a content blocker, or your browser's cookie settings. The site works the same without it. Google explains how it uses this data at policies.google.com.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare, which keeps standard request logs (such as IP address and browser) to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits without cookies.

Sponsor links

When you click a sponsored link, we add one to that sponsor's click count for the day and send you on to their site with a tag saying you came from Crack Prelims. We store nothing else about you. The sponsor's own site has its own privacy policy.
